Xavier Candia runs the Sales Practice. He has more than 20 years experience in high tech, with a solid background in channel marketing and sales.
He began his career with Dun & Bradstreet and INPUT as a market analyst, then moved into market planning with Calma Company, a subsidiary of GE.
As Group Manager of Channel Development at Sun Microsystems, he became recognized as a leading authority on reseller channel issues. He took this expertise to Xerox, where he developed and implemented a groundbreaking plan to build the alternate channels infrastructure for networked office products.
Recently his experience in startups, including Axil Computer, Aspect Communications and Bluestone (acquired by Hewlett Packard) have given him a solid understanding of the startup environment to complement his large company background.
He earned a BA in Economics and Near Eastern Studies at UC Berkeley.
